Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey was one of many Hollywood hunks — along with Jared Leto and Leonardo DiCaprio — who brought his mother to the Academy Awards this month, and the “Dallas Buyers Club” star continued the mom-in-tow trend this week.

McConaughey left his wife, Camila Alves, at home in Hollywood to head to Rome for a day to shoot a commercial.

His mother, Mary Kathlene McCabe, was already in Europe, spies said, and the pair was seen heading to celebrity-friendly Rome restaurant Antica Pesa for dinner.

“They looked adorable. His love for his mom was evident, and he treated her like a queen,” said a source. “You can tell he is such a southern gentleman, and they looked happy to be spending time together.”

The star — who’s having a “McConaissance” by moving from moribund romantic comedies like “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past” to serious projects including “True Detective” — headed into the kitchen after dinner to thank owners Francesco Panella and his brother Simone.

He and his mom stayed till 1 a.m., and McConaughey said he was heading back to LA the next morning.

McConaughey’s upcoming high-profile projects include “The Dark Knight” director Christopher Nolan’s “Interstellar” with Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain, and Channing Tatum stripper sequel “Magic Mike 2.”
