Gaga’s No. 1 for New Year’s

LADY Gaga looks to be the big winner on New Year’s Eve. The “Poker Face” singer’s performance at the Fontainebleau in Miami to ring in 2010 is the hottest ticket in the country based on sales through Web site NewYearsEve.com.

Gaga, who’s said to be getting about $300,000 for the show, has already sold north of $1 million in tickets on the site. Andrew Fox, the site’s founder, tells us there are only a few $25,000 tables left and some general admission seats at $425. “I’m in awe of the fact that Lady Gaga will make the Fontainebleau the hottest ticket in America on New Year’s Eve,” he said.

In New York, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon‘s marathon bash at M2 is on track to sell out and bring in more than $500,000. Other big-ticket bashes are Josh Madden and Cobra Starship’s performance at the Hotel on Rivington, which has done more than $150,000 in sales through the Web site.

Other top-selling venues here include Hudson Terrace and Tavern on the Green, where organizer Gordon Von Broock said he’s sold 1,500 tickets to bring in $300,000 for the restaurant’s era-ending closing party.

Meanwhile, not quite the hot ticket is Brody Jenner, who’s hosting a party at the Gansevoort in South Beach. The reality-TV star has sold a paltry 57 tickets through the Web site.

And “Real Housewives of New York” star Kelly Bensimon has moved only 59 tickets for her party at Gustavino’s on 59th Street on the site, but staff insist she has sold many more through the venue itself.

In Las Vegas, Christina Aguilera‘s fete at Tao has already topped $250,000 in sales, while 50 Cent‘s bash at Pure, Eva Longoria‘s shindig at Eve, and the Black Eye Peas’ performance at LAX are all selling well.

The same can’t be said for Shwayze‘s party at the Treasure Island casino. Only 17 tickets to date have been sold through the site — even worse than for Pete Wentz‘s bash at Jet, which has sold only 93 tickets on NewYearsEve.com.
