Johnny Weir and Victor Voronov’s divorce is back on.
Days after news that the couple had made nice, the reconciliation has already fallen apart.
And the latest breakdown isn’t due to financial disputes or alleged animal abuse. Instead it’s because Weir’s mother, Pamela, just won’t get out of the way, reports Radar Online.
“Johnny and Victor are once again broken up, and it’s because of Johnny’s mom interfering,” a source tells Radar. “Victor thinks Johnny’s mother has too much control of him, and has treated him like a second class citizen.”
According to the source, Weir never sticks up for his once-again-estranged husband, and Voronov is sick and tired of Pamela’s meddling.
When news of the couple’s reunion broke over the weekend, it was revealed that Voronov had demanded, along with a public apology from Weir, that his mother back off.
Weir also made his own list of demands, including banning extramarital dalliances and mandatory joint STD testing. He also allegedly included an ultimatum stating, “If I give you one more day to get your bank records to me, then I want to have a free f—k of anyone I want.”
The latest development in the Weir-Voronov marriage saga won’t come as a surprise to anyone who has followed the couple since they announced their initial split last month. The resulting saga has included allegations of domestic violence, nude photographs, vandalized Hermés, Céline and Chanel handbags, and animal abuse.
