Why limit yourself to just one lover? That’s how Cameron Diaz feels, at least.

“I don’t know if anyone is really naturally monogamous. We all have the same instincts as animals,” the actress says in the May issue of InStyle (on newsstands April 18). “But we live in a society where it’s been ingrained in us to do these things.”

This view might explain why Diaz has dated her fair share of eligible bachelors, including Jared Leto, Justin Timberlake and Alex Rodriguez.

She also weighed in on one of her favorite topics: pubic hair.

“Dye it blue if you want to,” the actress says when asked about grooming. “I’m just doing, like, a call to my ladies out there, saying keep your options open.”

Since the release of her first book, “The Body Book,” at the end of last year, Diaz has urged women to do whatever they want with their bodies, as long as it’s not permanent.

The tome attempts to offer a “comprehensive overview of the human body and mind, from the cellular level up,” and features a chapter titled “In Praise of Pubes.”

Diaz’s latest movie, “The Other Woman,” hits theaters on April 25. In it, she plays one of three women, along with Leslie Mann and Kate Upton, who are deceived by the same man.
