Jennifer Aniston found herself so wrapped up in the moment while receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday afternoon that she leaned in and gave boyfriend Justin Theroux the couple’s first public kiss.

Wearing a Chanel flower print dress and a pair of strappy sandals, Aniston looked gorgeous as she accepted the honor, while Theroux and her father, “Days of Our Lives” actor John Aniston, gazed on.

“I was born in Sherman Oaks, California. I am a California girl through and through,” Aniston said, giving a short speech after posing for photos with her star, located on Hollywood Boulevard across from the W Hotel. “This has always just sort been in the back of my mind — it probably was not even a dream, but one of my wildest dreams. I am utterly humbled and grateful.”

Aniston appeared so moved by the moment that she gave Theroux a kiss as cameras flashed, just a week after the couple avoided being seen together at the premiere of their new movie, “Wanderlust.”

While Aniston pals Courteney Cox and Chelsea Handler were conspicuously absent from the event, her “Just Go With It” co-star Adam Sandler was on hand to speak about the actress.

“She prayed for three things,” Sandler joked from the podium. “To have everyone in the entire world be fascinated with her haircut; to one day star in a movie about an evil leprechaun who kills people, and most importantly, receive a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame. Well today, Jennifer, the trifecta is here.”

Meanwhile, Aniston revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that she’s not sure what to think about the idea of reuniting the cast of “Friends,” the series that made her a household name, for a movie a la “Sex and the City” or “Arrested Development.”

“I can’t imagine what that would be,” she said. “‘Friends’ is in your living room — ‘Friends’ is not in a movie theatre. It doesn’t make sense to me. I think it would be going against its authentic self … But I’ll never ever say never.”
