Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones has just undergone heart surgery, Page Six has learned. The rocker had a bypass procedure at Miami Beach’s Mount Sinai Heart Institute earlier this week. A source told us, “The surgery was more urgent because Mick had needed it for some time.” But we’re told Jones is making a good recovery and was last night moved out of intensive care. At his side is his former wife, Ann Dexter-Jones, and their two children, Annabelle and Alexander Dexter-Jones. Foreigner completed a summer world tour with Journey and had continued to play live, with Jones missing some gigs because of a “mystery illness.” Reps for Jones and Foreigner were not reachable last night.
