Justin Bieber lawyers want Joustin’ Beaver video game shut down

Chances are that you won’t see Justin Bieber playing the game Joustin’ Beaver on his cell phone.

TMZ reports that lawyers for the pop star have sent a cease-and-desist letter asking that RC3, the company that released the game, stop production and sales immediately and remove the app from iTunes. They are also requesting that the company send over accounting for all revenue made on the game.

The game in question features a bucktooth beaver in a purple hoodie, rocking Bieber’s signature hair swirl. He holds in his hand a javelin. The game places said beaver on a river, where he must sign as many “Otter-graphs” for fans as he can while knocking out “Phot-Hogs” who are trying to snap pictures of him.

RC3 tells TMZ that they are not too worried about the cease and desist letter and that they will continue to sell the app, as it is a parody. They believe that, in court, the game would be protected under the First Amendment.
