Oscar nominee Viola Davis will be feted today at a luncheon thrown by her talent agency, APA. The Best Actress contender, who already has SAG and NAACP Image awards for her role in “The Help,” will be honored at the Hotel Bel-Air. Guests expected include Oprah Winfrey, Denzel Washington, Sissy Spacek, “The Help” author Kathryn Stockett, its screenwriter/director Tate Taylor, producers Chris Columbus and John Norris, BCBG Max Azria Group’s Max and Lubov Azria, and Walden Media CEO Michael Bostick. APA also represents Best Actor nominee Gary Oldman and Original Song nominee Sergio Mendes.
