The White House picked at least one Oscar winner right last night. Sources said the screening room at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue had requested a print of the football documentary “Undefeated” to screen over the weekend. The underdog movie by directors Daniel Lindsay and T.J. Martin subsequently won a Best Documentary Feature Oscar, up against more established filmmakers including Wim Wenders. Hip-hop mogul Sean Combs lent his name to the movie as an executive producer earlier this month. And the rap mogul will work on a feature remake of the movie, with the Weinstein Co. “Undefeated” follows the volunteer coach of a poorly funded Memphis high school team.
