Selena Gomez incited panic when she posted a photo and caption on Twitter that some assumed to mean that she and Justin Bieber had broken up. The “Love You Like A Love Song” singer, however, has revealed that she and Bieber are still together.
“Love me not,” Gomez posted cryptically on Twitter yesterday. The words accompanied a photo of a pink daisy with all its petals picked off.

Gomez’s message on the micro-blogging site lead Gather.com to post the headline, “Did Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez split?” Several of her Twitter followers reacted too.
Soon, Gomez deleted the caption and wrote, “Whoa.. I was just picking some flowers with this chick. Smile everyone.” She posted another photo of a friend in front of a lush flower arrangement.
Gomez and Bieber have been together a little over a year. The “Wizards of Waverly Place” star recently told Cosmopolitan magazine how happy she is in the relationship, comparing it to her last.
“I was in a relationship previously where I had to hide everything and it wasn’t my choice. I had to go through different exits and take separate cars and do the craziest things, and it just really wasn’t worth it. It was like a year of my life completely wasted,” she said. “I’m just like every 19-year-old girl. If you’re in love, you’re in love to the fullest, and you just want to go to the movies, hang out, and be as normal as possible. I’m fortunate that I’ve found someone who has that philosophy.”
