Tatum skips most of ‘22 Jump Street’ premiere to catch Rangers

Channing Tatum ditched his premiere for “22 Jump Street” to watch the Rangers game on Wednesday.

After appearing at AMC Lincoln Square, the star was spotted catching the Stanley Cup Finals at the Mandarin Oriental along with Phil Jackson and Rick Fox.

He showed up at the movie’s after-party at Lavo at 10 p.m. and stayed for 20 minutes before leaving to catch more of the game.

Earlier, Tatum told reporters, “The big joke in this film is . . . sequels are a terrible idea, they’re just more expensive and worse than the first.” But he is planning “Magic Mike 2.”

“There was a stripper convention I went to . . . we were like, is there enough to write another movie? We’re gonna try.”
