D&G model: ‘I don’t get on with Gisele’

Handsome male model David Gandy might be the only man who doesn’t want to work with Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

“I don’t get on with Gisele,” the 32 year old male model who shot to fame as the guy in the white swimsuit briefs in the Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue fragrance ads. “We don’t see eye to eye, we argue and we don’t enjoy working with each other.”

Gandy, a blue eyed 6 foot 3 English model who has shot three campaigns with the wife of Tom Brady, told the Daily Mail that he’s, “Not going to get on with anyone who takes it for granted or thinks they’re something special.”

Despite landing the D&G contract—which gathered 11 million hits online and launched him as an international top model—Gandy opened up to the Daily Mail about his success and shortcomings in the modeling business, including his few girlfriends and insecurities about his looks.

“To be honest, I don’t think I’m that great looking. I’ve grown into my looks but at school I wasn’t the guy who got the girls or who was thought to be hot,” said the model with the chiseled cheekbones and washboard abs.

He admits he didn’t have a girlfriend until he was 21 and he’s only had three serious relationships. Gandy is currently dating British model Sarah Ann Macklin. Gandy also whined his athletic build hindered his career for years.

‘I spent years basically just working as a catalogue model because I was too big for most clothes. I can’t tell you the amount of times I’d hear that awful rip as I pulled on a pair of trousers or a jacket.”

Now, Gandy earns around $785,000 annually, which affords him hobbies from collecting classic sports cars, watches and antique furniture.

“The downside is girls earn more, the upside is guys work longer,” he told the Mail.
