Topper quickly getting over Tinsley Mortimer

Tinsley Mortimer is doing her best to get over her estranged husband, Topper Mortimer, but the blue-blooded banker seems to have already moved on.

Topper, who was linked for months to Vogue staffer Valerie Boster, was spotted in London this month with statuesque blond model/actress Meredith Ostrom, the ex of Duran Duran keyboardist Nick Rhodes, at a screening of the art-world satire “Boogie Woogie.”

A source in London told us, “Topper seems to be getting very close to Meredith. He was sporting a full beard, very bohemian, almost van Gogh-esque, and appropriate to the occasion. He was wearing shiny green sneakers — a bold fashion statement.

“He looked happy and relaxed. Clearly the fellow is breaking from his old mold and it suits him. He was happily posing for pictures with Meredith.”

Meanwhile, sources say producers of Tinsley’s CW show, “High Society,” are keen to cast Topper in season two as a “Mr. Big” character who continues to loom over Tinsley’s life. An insider said, “There’s still a lot of affection between Tinsley and Topper, so producers hope he will appear — perhaps as the one who got away. But nothing has been set in stone.”

Friends of camera-shy Topper, who blamed Tinsley’s love of the limelight for their breakup, don’t believe he would ever agree to be on reality TV.

Meanwhile, Tinsley and her current boyfriend, 26-year-old hospitality executive Brian Mazza, were spotted the other day getting tattoos together at East Side Ink on Avenue B. Tinsley got the names of her dogs, Bella and BB, inscribed on her wrist. Says a source, “It’s nothing that serious — they’re just having fun. She’s just trying to stay busy and keep her mind off of Topper.”

A rep for Tinsley declined to comment and Topper couldn’t be reached.
