Ivy League financial party boy Taek Jho Low paid $33 million, including closing costs, for the penthouse at 1 Central Park West — the priciest single-unit residential foreclosure in New York history, reports The Post’s Jennifer Gould Keil. Donald Trump bought the apartment for $5 million in 1997, then sold it a year later for $10.4 million to movie mogul Vittorio Checchi Gori, who gutted it, then lost it to his lenders before he could fix it back up. A Russian family bought it for $18 million last July at auction, but walked away from a $1.8 million deposit because they were spooked by high renovation costs. Jho Low, who’s trying to keep a low profile these days, bought the penthouse through a corporation.
