Is Simon’s son losing his religion?
It’s getting serious between Kick Kennedy, 25, the daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Harper Simon, 41, the son of Paul Simon. There’s just one little problem with them getting to the altar.
“Harper wants to marry her, but he’ll have to convert to Roman Catholic,” a friend told me.
The lovebirds met on a junket to Morocco earlier this year, but managed to keep their romance a secret — until Page Six scooped it in October.
“They have a house in Los Angeles,” my source said. “They collect art. They have pets.” Their 16-year age gap is not an issue.
Harper, Simon’s son by his first wife Peggy Harper, is a talented singer-songwriter and guitarist.
Kick, who makes her New York stage debut next month in “Antigone,” is said to be very serious about her acting career. “She’s working hard with acting coaches,” said the friend. “She wants to be taken seriously. Her idol is Katharine Hepburn.”
