Arthur Zeckendorf, the wealthy developer of the storied 15 Central Park West, is to marry Anne Detwiler in a move which has set New York high society abuzz.
Zeckendorf, scion of the Zeckendorf real estate dynasty and principal of Zeckendorf Realty, along with his brother William Lie, recently proposed to Detwiler, whose grandfather is 96-year-old Dwayne Andreas, a prominent political donor and chairman of agricultural products giant Archer Daniels Midland.
A rep for Zeckendorf, who is also an owner of Terra Holdings, which owns and operates Brown Harris Stevens and Halstead, confirmed the engagement but declined to comment further.
