Former “Today” top booker Melissa Lonner got a grand send-off by music and network execs over the weekend. Lonner — who left the show after eight years of bringing in acts including Rihanna, One Direction, Justin Bieber and Chris Brown — was feted at a private room at Prohibition, where spies say guests included suits from labels Island Def Jam, Sony, Universal Music Group and Interscope, plus brass from TV networks and movie studios including Paramount. “Guests raised glasses and indulged in a musical [performance] from Melissa’s favorite Poison cover band,” we’re told. Pals were mum about Lonner’s next move. But she told Billboard, after being named No. 12 on its Women in Music list, that she’s “taking some time to regroup before revealing her next venture.”
