The news from Las Vegas isn’t all bleak. While the Light Group is getting its new, 25,000-square-foot Haze club ready for New Year’s Eve, Steve Wynn is planning to spend $100 million to create the Encore Beach Club and Surrender nightclub, The Post’s Andy Wang reports. The project — with three pools, 30 pri vate bungalows and a gaming pavilion — is scheduled to open at Wynn’s Encore resort in late May and go head-to-head with Light Group’s forthcoming Liquid venue at the Aria, which plans to host deca dent pool parties when it opens in the spring. More day and night spots are expected later next year at the Cosmopolitan. A beach club has been in the works there too, and de signer Adam Tihany is working on restaurants. There’s also talk that a Vegas outpost of New York’s Scarpetta restaurant could be headed to the Cosmopolitan.
