Kate Middleton greets crowd after Christmas church service

Britain’s royal family turned up for a traditional Christmas Day church service in high Yuletide fashion.

Princess Kate wore a form-fitting Alexander McQueen coat dress in authentic Black Watch tartan, topped with a tannenbaum-green Gina Foster hat adorned with a festive bow.

Thousands of commoners gathered in the bitter cold to greet the royals outside the chapel on the Sandringham estate, their historic country retreat in Norwalk.

One well-wisher shouted, “Where’s the baby?” in reference to Kate Middleton and Prince Williams’ 5-month-old son, George.

Kate replied to Cicely Howard, 75, that the newest member of the monarchy was at home playing with the wrapping paper from his gifts.

Wills said, “We’ve had a good morning with George, and I can’t wait until next year when he’s bigger.”

Prince Harry sported a beard, which he had grown while making a grueling 200-mile trek to the South Pole with a dozen wounded war veterans.

Harry, who arrived without his girlfriend, socialite Cressida Bonas, said he would keep the facial fuzz because it’s a “royal tradition.”
