Hakkasan CEO Moffitt buys $50.9M Chelsea penthouse

Hakkasan CEO Neil Moffitt is the secret buyer of the $50.9 million penthouse of Chelsea’s Walker Tower, sources tell Page Six.

British-born Moffitt apparently paid cash after visiting the space for “less than five minutes” before stating, “I’ll take it,” according to other reports which didn’t identify the buyer.

The price for the nearly 6,000-square-foot, five-bedroom unit in the West 18th Street art deco building is a near-downtown record. It has a south-facing terrace, views of the Statue of Liberty, the Chrysler and Empire State buildings — and is conveniently close to the Meatpacking District nightlife scene and Hakkasan New York’s location.

Reps for Moffitt didn’t get back to us.
