Carmelo Anthony made the Dress for Success “Something to Share” gala Thursday night a family affair to celebrate his mom, Mary, who was honored at the event’s signature “Toast to Our Mothers” dedication.
The Knicks star brought his wife, La La Anthony, son, Kiyan, and brother, Justice, to the Grand Hyatt and stood up to take photos with a beaming smile while Mom was on stage.
La La was heard telling the Anthony brothers, “We have to plan a dinner for your mom” to celebrate her honor.
Star Jones, Bethenny Frankel and QVC CEO Claire Watts also attended the event, which raised $1.2 million for the organization that provides interview suits, confidence and career advice to low-income women.
