Rolling Stone boss Jann Wenner hosted a screening of “For No Good Reason,” a doc on artist Ralph Steadman, Tuesday night.

It was a reunion for the publisher and the artist, who hadn’t seen each other in many years. Wenner owns the original illustrations Steadman created for Hunter S. Thompson’s “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.”

Scenes in the indie film starring Johnny Depp were shot in Wenner’s office.

An exhibition of Steadman’s work launched at Red Bull Studios after the screening, where guests included Tom Wolfe, Paul Shaffer, Tony Shafrazi, Griffin Dunne, the doc’s director Charlie Paul, and Sony Pictures Classics’ Tom Bernard and Michael Barker.
