Ed Westwick has been involved in a few scuffles in bars, but last weekend he actually managed to avoid a fight by talking it out with a group of men — in French. The “Gossip Girl” star was at No. 8 on Thursday and stepped outside the tony West 16th Street lounge for a cigarette. Observers said he got into a heated conversation with a group, and it got so animated that a bouncer came over to break it up. But Westwick assured him all was good. “The guys worked out the situation in French,” said our spy.
