Staffers at NeueHouse — the private club where creative types from Chris Blackwell to Paul Bettany rent hip office space — played a Lady Gaga gag on April Fools’ Day.
Spies said members packed the club’s industrial-cool basement after being told by staffers there was a “special private performance” that would make guests “Just Dance,” riffing on the Gaga track.
After a dramatic entrance with bodyguards and backup dancers, Gaga — in town playing Roseland Ballroom — performed in a “bubble dress.”
Members tweeted, “Kid you not @ladygaga is performing at my office.”
But the performer was later revealed as an impersonator, Athena Reich. The club’s (real) hosting speakers including Slash, Brooke Shields and Carol Alt this week.
