Demi ‘really hurt’ by Ashton: report

Demi Moore filed for divorce from Ashton Kutcher yesterday, asking her estranged ex to pay her spousal support and her attorney fees.

However, a new report suggests that the famous actress does not necessarily want or need Kutcher’s money. According to estimates, Moore even has more money than Kutcher.

It seems Moore may just be a classic scorned wife. As a source told TMZ, Kutcher was a “bad husband” and Moore was “really hurt” by him. TMZ’s source did not use the word revenge, but the sentiment was allegedly there as Moore pulled the plug.

The gossip site reports that the two are in the middle of negotiating a financial settlement and close to striking a deal, which won’t include spousal support. Moore’s lawyer is allegedly aiming high so Moore will do better in the end.

A year and a half after splitting, Moore filed divorce docs from her husband of six years, citing irreconcilable differences.

The financial stakes are high. CelebrityNetWorth.com reported in Nov. 2011 that Kutcher and Moore had a combined $290 million fortune, with Moore rumored to be worth $150 million and Kutcher $140 million.

However, an insider told us this week, “Ashton made a lot of money after marrying Demi — a lot more than she made — but despite him becoming just as famous through her, he believes he doesn’t owe her that much.”

Kutcher is the highest-paid actor on TV, pulling in $24 million last year for “Two and a Half Men,” and he’s also become a savvy investor in various tech startups.

Kutcher’s being repped by LA celebrity lawyer Laura Wasser, while Moore has retained powerhouse New York attorney William Beslow.
