Rod Stewart: Penny Lancaster turned down ‘Real Housewives’

Penny Lancaster will not be apearring on the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

“Housewives” producers were hoping to score Rod Stewart’s model wife as one of the replacements for Adrienne Maloof and Camille Grammer.

However, Stewart himself told TMZ that Lancaster turned down the offer.

“She doesn’t want to do that sort of thing,” the singer said. “She’s just happy being a mom.”

Producers of the “Bravo” reality show are still on the lookout to fill out the cast. Sources told TMZ that former “Extra” host Dayna Devon is in the running.
