Katie Couric steps out with boyfriend John Molner

Shortly after going public as a couple, Katie Couric and her banker boyfriend John Molner stepped out at Gracie Mansion for Bette Midler’s Restoration Project Spring Picnic yesterday.

Couric spoke publicly about her relationship for the first time just this month. “I’ve been seeing someone for about a year,” she confessed to USA Today. “He’s great. He’s from Chicago. I love Midwesterners.”

The former “Today” anchor seems to have quite the little black book. After admitting in February shared an intimate evening with Larry King in the 1980s, Couric revealed that she’s had many more celebrity amours.

She recently told Howard Stern that she once went on a date with Bob Saget, and a puka-shell-wearing Jeff Probst. Couric also said she turned down a date with the late King of Pop.

“I do regret not having dinner with him,” the 56-year-old TV personality told Stern. “That would have been insane — breaking bread with Michael Jackson!”

Couric’s husband Jay passed away in 1998 of colon cancer.

“I really did love my husband a lot, but after Jay died, I always thought I’d end up like Florence Henderson on ‘The Brady Bunch,’” she said. “It’s actually surprising to me that it has been almost 15 years and I haven’t remarried.”
