Liam Hemsworth may be out promoting “Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” but what people really want to hear him talk about is his former fiancee, Miley Cyrus.

The 23-year-old actor finally spoke about the pop star, 20, nearly two months after the former couple confirmed their split. But as you might expect, he wasn’t particularly forthcoming with details.

“I’m extremely happy for all of her success,” he said in an interview with Extra.

Like her former beau, Cyrus first addressed life after Hemsworth in a televised interview with Ellen last month. The “Wrecking Ball” singer also avoided going into too much detail.

“I think people spend more time actually thinking about it than I really do. I just believe when a chapter is done you have to close it and start that new one. That’s kind of where I am right now,” she said at the time.

Just last week it was reported that the pop star sent a letter of regret to the actor, trying to explain her action over the last few months.

“She thought about writing some songs, but then decided why not write a letter to Liam to tell him exactly how she feels. Miley admitted to Liam she has pushed him away and said sorry for acting so mad.” a source close to the singer told The Sun.

Hemsworth and Cyrus met on the set of the 2009 movie, “The Last Song.” The couple embarked on a four-year long, tumultuous relationship, which peaked when they announced their engagement last year.

In the same interview, Hemsworth also confirmed that he is currently single in the interview, even though he was linked with Mexican model/actress Eiza González just days after his split with Cyrus was announced.

“I don’t have a lady at the moment,” the actor said.
