John Legend played songs from his upcoming album, “Love in the Future,” for a small crowd at the Box for Scene magazine the other night.
Taking the piano, Legend, whose wedding to model Chrissy Teigen will take place next month, admitted, “People keep asking me if I am nervous about getting married, but I am a little more nervous about my album coming out.” Adding, “But yeah, I guess you’re supposed to get nervous before you get married, but I feel good.”
During another song, Legend explained he’d played it for Teigen’s parents to mixed results. “She got a little embarrassed. The second line is ‘We couldn’t wait, we did it in the living room.’”
