Has hot-tempered Alec Baldwin learned to hold his tongue?
During a Q&A for the Hamptons International Film Festival’s SummerDoc screening of “The Short Game” the other day, Baldwin told the audience, “It’s best to say things in your head rather than out loud . . . so I’ve learned.”
The film’s subject, 8-year-old golf champ Sky Sudberry, eagerly replied, “Yes, I agree,” to which Baldwin joked, “Oh, do you read The Post, too?”
We’re told the whole audience burst out laughing. Prior to the screening, Baldwin and new mom Hilaria attended a private reception at Mary Jane and Charles Brock’s East Hampton home, where they received well wishes on the birth of their daughter, Carmen Gabriela, who was born on Aug. 23.
Alec also joked during the Q&A about when his daughter should start golfing, saying, “She’s about a week old — too soon?” The new parents then enjoyed a romantic dinner together at Nick & Toni’s Monday night without their newborn.
