Pauly D’s custody battle continues, won’t see baby on birthday

It won’t be a happy birthday for Pauly D’s daughter.

The “Jersey Shore” star — born Paul DelVecchio — attempted to work out a temporary truce with Amanda Markert, his daughter’s mother, so he could see baby Amabella on her first birthday Thursday, but couldn’t agree on terms, Radar Online reports.

“He wanted to get Amabella for her birthday, but they’re still fighting in court [over custody],” a source said. “He’s hoping to have Amabell the week after … He will spoil her and loves her more than anything.”

The website also reports that last month, Markert and DelVecchio worked out a temporary agreement so DelVecchio, 33, could regularly see his daughter, but nothing has been made official.

The DJ turned reality star met Markert while performing in Las Vegas last summer.

It was a one- night stand. She is a 25-year-old cocktail waitress from Harrah’s in Atlantic City,” a source told Page Six.

After an October DNA test confirmed the child was his, DelVecchio released a statement, saying “I am proud I’m a father. I am excited to embark on this new part of my life.”
