Madonna stays in NYC for secret Sukkot

While many A-list kabbalah followers — including Ashton Kutcher, with his gal pal Mila Kunis — made a pilgrimage to Israel for the funeral of its chief, Rabbi Philip Berg, Madonna remained in New York to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Sukkot.

The Material Girl was spotted trying to slip into Kosher hot spot Prime at the Bentley undetected by wrapping her head in a scarf.

A spy said the star’s SUV pulled onto the sidewalk at the East Side restaurant, close to a side door so she could sneak in, with her head completely wrapped in the scarf, which also covered her eyes. Then, “They left the SUV on the sidewalk, blocking pedestrians” to wait for her return two hours later.

Inside, a source said a de-scarfed Madonna addressed Berg’s death, telling the crowd in a speech, “Rabbi Berg would not want us to be sad, he would want us to celebrate Sukkot.” She then was seen praying and dancing up a storm with her kids Lourdes, David and Rocco.
