Jon Favreau — who directed the blockbuster “Iron Man” and its sequel — debuted his latest movie with Robert Downey Jr. on Friday to open the SXSW Film Festival.

In “Chef,” Favreau stars as a toque who quits a prominent restaurant to launch a food truck, and he apparently picked up real culinary skills on the set.

On Saturday he’ll give a cooking demonstration with Roy Choi, the Le Bernardin-trained chef who launched Kogi, a cult Korean taco truck in LA. They’ll prepare food at Qui, an Austin, Texas, restaurant owned by “Top Chef” alum Paul Qui.

Downey, who dabbles in graphic design, created limited edition posters to be displayed at the fest.

Favreau tweeted a video of Downey describing his food truck-inspired designs, saying he calls one poster “Thelma and Louise get a burrito” and another, “SpaceX meets chimichanga.”

We hear Gary Clark Jr. played an after-party for the film that also stars Sofía Vergara, Dustin Hoffman and Scarlett Johansson.

“Veronica Mars” and Seth Rogen comedy “Neighbors” are also debuting at the fest.
