LOS ANGELES — “Sex and the City” star Kristin Davis has followed the path of her character from the iconic HBO series by adopting a baby daughter.
Davis, who is single, adopted the baby she has named Gemma Rose several months ago, People reported Friday, showing a picture of the actress holding her brown-haired daughter wearing a pink and white striped jumpsuit.
“This is something I have wanted for a very long time,” the 46-year-old was quoted as saying. “Having this wish come true is even more gratifying than I ever had imagined. I feel so blessed.”
It was a case of life imitating art, with her SATC character Charlotte York Goldenblatt having adopted a daughter in the final episode of the long-running series.
