David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly nonplussed that their Christmas card has leaked online, despite the fact that they sent it specifically to magazine and newspaper editors across the globe.
The card shows the couple’s children — Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 9, and Cruz, 5, tucked into bed without shirts on. They hold baby Harper, also tucked under the blanket. Cruz Beckham has antlers and a Rudolph nose painted on him and text across the bottom of the image reads, “Twas the night before Christmas.”
According to the Daily Mail, the leak originated with Jane Keltner De Valle, Senior Fashion News Director at Teen Vogue magazine. She tweeted the image along with the message, “Cutest thing about @victoriabeckham’s xmas card? Photo cred on back that reads ‘Picture by Daddy.'”
From there, Glamour UK editor Jo Elvin shared it, soon taking it down again and typing the words, “I should point out, the Christmas card from the Beckhams is NOT for publication. It was private. My bad. Sorry, got swept up in adorableness.”
The image has since traveled widely. Representatives for the Beckhams have asked several sites to take it down and it appears that many have complied.
While the Beckhams do not want the public to see their Christmas card, Victoria Beckham is excited for people to see the notecards she created for London Printwork. On Monday, she tweeted a video of the cards being made along with the message, “See my VictoriaCat artnote being printed.”
The Beckhams are reportedly spending the holiday in England with their family.
