Voluptuous singer Adele appears to have lost a considerable amount of weight following her throat surgery, a Twitter photo reveals.

On the heels of reports that she may be appearing on the March cover of Vogue, Adele tweeted a photo of herself in which her face appears much thinner than before. The singer sported a bee hive and her signature retro eyeliner. She held her hands to either side of her face in a V formation, calling attention to her svelte look.

In October, Adele was forced to cancel tour dates, for the second time, because of an issue with her vocal cords. Doctors told the singer that she had a rupture caused by a benign polyp and would need to undergo surgery.

Adele released a statement saying, “Singing is literally my life. It’s my hobby, my love, my freedom and now my job. I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully or I risk damaging my voice forever.”

Adele had vocal cord microsurgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital Voice Center in early November. After the surgery, she tweeted, “The operation was a success and I’m just chilling out now until I get the all-clear from my doctors.”

The singer’s recent weight loss might be on account of the surgery, which potentially could make eating uncomfortable.

Adele was recently nominated for six Grammys. Sources say that songstress hopes to be back in commission by the awards ceremony in February.
