Zoe’s clothes lost in transit

Rachel Zoe is facing a fashionista’s worst nightmare — lost luggage.

The celebrity stylist and star of Bravo’s “The Rachel Zoe Project” was winging to St. Barts for a luxurious holiday when American Airlines lost her valuable valise filled with stylish resort wear, sources say. The suitcase contained a “Tom Ford for Gucci vintage leather jacket and Missoni caftans,” we’re told, among other prized threads.

Zoe — whose clients include Cameron Diaz, Eva Mendes, Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway — was headed to Miami for a quick stay before moving on to St. Barts this week. But when Zoe’s bag went missing, she was left with only the duds on her back.

“Rachel jetted from Los Angeles to Miami just before the Christmas holiday, and her suitcase with all of her favorite pieces has been missing ever since,” explained a source close to the stylist, famous for her diva catchphrase, “I Die!” — which we imagine she must have been muttering at baggage claim.

The quick-thinking clotheshorse managed to pick up some emergency backup gear in Miami before jetting to the tropical resort island.

“American has offered up no information as to its whereabouts,” our source said of the lost-in-paradise bag. “It’s been a week now. There hasn’t been any info on [the bag’s] whereabouts, or an estimated return date whatsoever.”

A rep for American told us, “We are working diligently to find Ms. Zoe’s bag, as we would for any passenger.”

Either way, Zoe was spotted dining on St. Barts (fully clothed) at restaurant Maya’s on Monday with Cinema Society honcho Andrew Saffir and Daniel Benedict. Ronald Perelman supped nearby.

American’s had bad luck with some celebs lately: Alec “What’s in Your Wallet” Baldwin got into a war of words with the airline after being bounced from a flight this month.
