Kate Beckinsale said she fought to protect her daughter, Lily Mo
Sheen, when she fell in love with “Underworld” director Len Wiseman (now her husband). Beckinsale met Wiseman while filming the movie along with Lily’s father, Michael Sheen, whom Kate had been dating for years. Beckinsale told Manhattan magazine in the January issue, “We had a communal goal to keep her well, to help her to flourish, and I think it’s very elegant that nobody lost sight of that, ever.” Her latest film, “Underworld: Awakening,” opens on Jan. 20.
