Celebrities really are just like us: They have awkward run-ins with their exes. Of course, Jennifer Lopez was clad in couture and diamonds when she and new man Casper Smart ran into her ex, Ben Affleck, at the Golden Globes last night.
George Clooney helped break the ice by introducing his girlfriend, Stacy Keibler, to Lopez as Affleck passed, omg! reports. But Lopez saw the erstwhile other half of “Bennifer” later in the night again, when he took to the stage to accept his trophy for “Best Director.” As Lopez watched him adoringly, she was “beaming,” Us Weekly reports.
Later on, at the Weinstein Company and DeLeon tequila bash, she had yet another run-in, this time with Sean “Diddy” Combs. This time around she drummed up the courage to talk with him, asking “How is your night?” according to reports, while Combs shook Smart’s hand. He made out luckier than Affleck, E!s Marc Malkin reports — JLo gave him a kiss on the cheek!
Marc Anthony and Chris Judd were not, thankfully for Lopez, in sight.
