Joey Fatone followed up his ‘N Sync reunion performance Sunday night with rumours of him saying “Bye, Bye, Bye” to his wife of eight years.
The 36-year-old singer has been living apart from his high school sweetheart Kelly Baldwin since February, Star Magazine reports in tomorrow’s issue . A source told the mag they have been keeping their struggles quiet to protect their daughters Briahna, 12, and Kloey, 3.
“They pretend Joey is traveling for work, but really he just stays with friends,” said the insider.
When a reporter approached Baldwin about the split, she did not deny the news, instead saying “I don’t really want to talk about this.” She married Fatone in 2004 after dating him for 10 years, but Star reports she has moved on to someone new.
Rumours of infidelity started plaguing the couple in 2007 when Fatone was accused of having an affair with a fellow “Dancing with the Stars” contestant. Rumblings of his lusting resurfaced again in 2012 when he came back for the all-star season.
“He flirted with women as if he were single and he never wore his wedding ring…When everyone wanted to go home at the end of the night, he desperately tried to keep the party going,” another “Dancing with the Stars” competitor told Star at the season wrap party.
Clearly, things have not improved. Monday morning, on the heels of the MTV VMA after parties, Fatone told reporters, “I partied so hard I lost my voice!”
