The day after being honored for becoming the Rangers’ all-time wins and shutouts leader, Henrik Lundqvist was focused on another goal: outfitting two teenage boys for the first-ever Garden of Dreams Foundation Prom, taking place at Madison Square Garden on April 8.
The Swedish goalie met with Tyler Mejorado, who had a liver transplant in 2011, and Tom Fontaino, who suffers from cerebral palsy.
The dapper Lundqvist — who made Vanity Fair’s 2013 Best-Dressed list along with LeBron James and Tom Brady — perused the racks to help the boys pick out suits and matching shirts, shoes and ties, and worked with a tailor to determine the best length for their pants and jackets.
