Michelle Obama stopped by a Manhattan nail bar during a visit to town.
The first lady was at Jeniette Day Spa on East 13th Street just after midday Thursday.
Spies said she’d had a quick meeting at a building next door, then briefly dropped into the spa.
Owner Jeniette Melamed told us, “Unfortunately she didn’t have time to get her nails done, but she was very friendly, and the staff were very excited to see her.”
Michelle then sprinted out and waved to a growing crowd before speeding off.
Starting her day with a visit to the New Museum, she appeared on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” and dined with a group including Gayle King at ABC Kitchen.
