Ray Kelly signs with elite speaking agency

NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly’s next move will be to hit the lucrative speaking circuit. The outgoing top cop has signed a deal with the Greater Talent Network, which will help him tour the nation as a highly paid speaker starting Jan. 1. The network has represented elite speakers including President Obama’s previous National Security Adviser Tom Donilon, former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell and former FBI Director Louis Freeh. en. Wesley Clark, Carl Bernstein, Harold Ford Jr., Mia Farrow, Steve Kroft, Candace Bushnell, Michael Moore and ex-Gov. George Pataki. Kelly, who has spent more than four decades with the NYPD, will be replaced as commissioner by William Bratton on Jan. 1 under Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio. Kelly said of the GTN deal, “I’m looking forward to sharing the lessons I’ve learned leading the finest police force in the world as we met countless challenges every day.” The Post exclusively revealed Kelly is in the running for a top security job at JPMorgan Chase, while he is also working on a book after The Post’s Cindy Adams reported he sealed a deal with eminent DC lawyer and agent Bob Barnett, who has scored sizable deals for authors including Bill and Hillary Clinton and George W. Bush. We’re told Kelly’s book proposal is soon to be out to publishers.
