“Waiting for Godot,” starring Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, left fans waiting even longer this week when Tuesday’s performance was canceled.
Stewart was obligated to travel to Montreal for reshoots on “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” (Fellow “X-Men” star McKellen wasn’t called to the set.)
A day earlier, Stewart was erroneously outed as gay by the Guardian, which posted an embarrassing correction.
The married actor tweeted, “At least I didn’t wake up to the Internet telling me I was dead again.”
