New NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton surprised his wife, Rikki Klieman, at a luncheon thrown in her honor by Somers Farkas and Judith Giuliani.
“This is the male equivalent of having a girl jump out of your birthday cake,” Klieman joked about her busy husband’s impromptu visit as she greeted the group on Monday.
The nearly 60 guests at Le Cirque to fete Klieman included Barbara Walters, Susan Magrino, Margo Catsimatidis, Chele Chiavacci, Peggy Siegal, Tonya Lewis Lee, Suzanne Johnson, Amy Fine Collins, Melania Trump, Debbie Bancroft, Francine LeFrak, Dana Hammond Stubgen, Daphna Kastner Keitel and Nicole Miller, who took time out from preparing for her upcoming New York Fashion Week show.
Klieman, a criminal defense lawyer and CBS legal expert, told the group she would be working in her free time to promote nonprofits the New York City Police Foundation, which improves public safety, and the youth development agency the Police Athletic League.
