Page Six quick hits: celebrities tweet Adam Yauch’s death, Anna Paquin slams models

Celebrities have taken to Twitter this afternoon to mourn the loss of Beastie Boy Adam Yauch, aka MCA. Justin Timberlake wrote, “Crushed to hear the news,” while Sean Lennon said, “I’ll miss you very much.” Kevin Smith added, “You made my teenage years more fun and your art made it easier for me to do what I do. For a Beastie, you sure were a beaut.”

Anna Paquin might want to stay away from models until her latest quote blows over. She tells Fashion magazine’s summer issue, “I’ve learned how to dress for my shape … I’m 5’4″ and change! I know I will never be like Gisele, and I also know I will never be a hipless, assless supermodel.”

Dennis Quaid’s wife, Kimberly Buffington-Quaid, has called off their divorce. TMZ reports this afternoon that she is no longer pursuing a split and that the judge has dismissed their case.

Dev Patel is surprised that he keeps getting cast in romantic lead roles, following his success in “Slumdog Millionaire.” He tells New York magazine in an interview released today, “Somehow I’m romancing loads of beautiful women, but it doesn’t feel like my world. The thing is, I am a loving person. I am super sappy when it comes to romance. But I’m not the Antonio Banderas, swashbuckling, Pierce Brosnan, smooth-talking type. Maybe I’m endearing because I’m persistent?”

Jonah Hill is headed from “21 Jump Street” to Wall Street. The “Moneyball” actor has been cast opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese’s latest project, “The Wolf of Wall Street,” Deadline reports this afternoon.

Helena Bonham Carter says that she and Tim Burton, partners for 11 years, have not tied the knot out of laziness. In an a newly released chat with Daniel Radcliffe in Interview magazine, Bonham Carter says, “It was one of the worst humps in our marriage. Not that we’re married—through laziness, really.”
