While most women lament what time does to their bodies, Cameron Diaz says of her shape “it gets better as I get older.”
“My ass is definitely higher than it was when I was 20,” Diaz told “Access Hollywood” in an interview about her new movie, “What To Expect When You’re Expecting.” “This is the thing that people don’t understand — take care of your body [and it will] get better! It gets better as I get older. Absolutely.”

Diaz will celebrate her 40th birthday on August 30. But the actress swears that she is not dreading the milestone.
“I love getting older,” she said. “Look, the alternative to getting older is dead, so … I feel very fortunate to have a very full, loving, blessed life, so, I’m living it to the fullest.”
She continues, “As I get older, I become happier — because I’m wiser, I know myself better, I connect to people better. I think that in our society we don’t honor older generations enough because we think of it as being bad because the appearance changes. I say, embrace it. I’m better in every way because of it.”
Diaz stepped out for the New York premiere of “What To Expect” at the Lincoln Square Theater last night wearing an especially grown-up ensemble of a white button-down shirt with black pants. But the actress showed off her body last December while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas. Wearing a tiny grey bikini, it was apparent that Diaz’s body is in top form.
