Living in Los Angeles hasn’t been easy for Piers Morgan’s wife, either.
While Morgan’s CNN show just got canceled, his journalist wife, Celia Walden, just wrote a piece for the UK’s Daily Telegraph, complaining about the phoniness in Hollywood.
Walden describes how an actress she interviewed later had a drink with her, admired her jewelry, swapped baby photos and made plans to take her shopping.
“I leave it a day before emailing — and I wait. The actress never emailed me back. She was never going to,” wrote Walden, who calls it “faux-friending.”
Walden quotes her husband as saying, “This is what these guys do for a living: they’re con artists . . . Just enjoy the charm offensive and move on.”
