Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales is getting married for the third time in London this weekend. Alabama native Wales is tying the knot with Londoner Kate Garvey, who was formerly Tony Blair’s aide, in a ceremony expected to be “an A-list social event with the who’s who of London and international political, celebrity and VIP guests,” described one source. Expected guests include U2 rocker Bono and Facebook co-founder Sean Parker. The couple recently had a pre-wedding celebration at the Odeon in TriBeCa while in town during the Clinton Global Initiative, where guests included British model Lily Cole, IMAX CEO Richard Gelfond and wife Peggy, Davos power player Rich Stromback, investor and philanthropist Nichole Rhodes, and Claudia Gonzalez, who heads up marketing for the nonprofit Global Fund. Wales and Garvey, who met at the World Economic Forum in Davos, have one child together; Wales has another child with his second wife, Christine Rohan.
