Hollywood uber-producer Brian Grazer has landed a hefty book deal to write about curiosity. We’re told the Oscar winner got a six-figure deal with Simon & Schuster with the help of CAA’s Bryan Lourd, who was inspired by Grazer’s 27-year quest to meet someone new and interesting every week from the worlds of science, politics and secretive organizations, including MI5. A source tells us that the as yet untitled book, which will be released next year, will detail some of Grazer’s most interesting meetings, which could include some with President Obama and “the father of the hydrogen bomb,” Edward Teller. The book will examine how curiosity and the endless search for knowledge drive creativity.
